Camarena

Eduardo Camarena moved to London in 2015 and joined Zaha Hadid Architects. Before he had been working for Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) in Copenhagen (2012-2013) and for Strawn-Sierralta in Chicago, where he studied one year during his undergrad as part as an exchange program between ETSAM (Madrid) and ITT (Illinois Institute of Technology) during 2009-2010. He completed his Masters Degree in Architecture in ETSAM in 2014. His Masters Thesis received honors and was published in major architecture media such Architizer and Designboom.

From his early school years Eduardo realized that his understanding of architecture and design was beyond the scale of buildings and started to create products in very different scales. Award winning bathroom pieces (2nd Prize in Roca´s One Day Design Challeng UK 2017), furniture (“Stairamp”) or a device to improve the mobility of blind people that became an European Patent in 2012 (“Tactile Spatial Decoder for Blind People”) are just a few examples of Eduardo´s product portfolio.
