Participants of One Day Design Challenge and jumpthegap® meet in Barcelona

09 / 02 / 2018

On July 16th and 17th, a group of participants from all One Day Design Challenge and jumpthegap® editions took part in an event in Barcelona with the aim of creating a community of professionals around the brand and the disciplines linked to Architecture and Design.

The program consisted of a visit to the Roca Barcelona Gallery and later on to the OAB architecture studio, authors of the emblematic building, where Borja Ferrater told them the history of the studio, explaining the main projects they have worked in and the creative processes they follow when approaching a project. After the visit, the group had a guided tour of Barcelona, from the Gracia neighborhood to the Barceloneta beach. This intense day ended with a pleasant group dinner.

The next day, the group participated all morning in the workshop Playground cities: spaces for recreation. In the afternoon, after having lunch, they visited the studio of Javier Mariscal, a unique opportunity for the participants to get to know first-hand a professional with a vast experience in the world of design, who gave them one last piece of advice:

“If you really want to lead a life worth living, do something you enjoy; people will pay for it”.
