Vladimir Pirozhkov graduated from the Department of Industrial Design of Sverdlovsk Architecture Institute. He served internship at the studio of a renowned designer Luigi Colani, where he took part in the projects for such companies as Adidas, Ferrari, Yves Saint Laurent, etc. Subsequently, he continued his studies in Switzerland at the Art Center College of Design. For more than 20 years he developed car interiors for the most notorious international brands: he held the position of a Designer at Citroën and a Senior Designer at the Toyota design center in Nice. Since February 2005 he has been an honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts. He teaches at the leading universities of Russia, USA, China and Europe. Since 2014 he has been the Director of the Kinetics Center of Prototyping of High Complexity/ NITU MISiS. Elements of corporate style for the new airliner Sukhoi Superjet 100, the Olympic and Paralympic Torch design for the 2014 relay in Sochi, as well as a concept model of the next-generation spacecraft RKK Energia and a new chair for astronauts, etc. were developed under his leadership.
