Maria Freire holds a degree in Equipment Design from the Fine Arts Faculty of the University of Lisbon, and is currently finishing her Masters in Product Design by the same faculty. She is co-founder of a small ceramic brand. From an early age, she showed a connection to the arts and later to functional design. She believes that human beings and environmental issues should be at the heart of every project. She seeks to design products that are safe, of clear use.
