Born in Mumbai, India, Naheed graduated with a degree in Architecture from Sir Jamshedjee Jeejeebhoy School of Architecture, Mumbai.

She moved to Pakistan in 1985, after which she worked with Yasmeen Lari on restoration projects and Arcop as Project Architect and went into private practice in 1993. Since then she has completed innumerable architectural and Interior Design projects.

Naheed has made her mark in residential, hospitality and retail design. She was the first recipient of the Ladies Fund Women entrepreneurship award in 2008. She received a fellowship in 2011 from the Pakistan Institute of Interior Designers for her contribution in the field of Interior Design in Pakistan. She was the chairperson of the Pakistan Institute of Interior Design.
