Poland 3rd Edition

Friday 8th October 2021

Objective: Designing innovative concepts for bathroom-related products.

Topic: The specific brief for the object to be designed will be announced on Friday, 8th October 2021

Context: The context has changed. Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and its subsequent global impact, we have seen that designers have had to adapt quickly to new needs and to a different global reality.  Hygiene, disinfection, social distance… these are now part of the new context, joining sustainability, personal care, accessibility and the lack of affordable housing, which have been key elements in the agenda of the last few years.

Due to this exceptional health situation, Roca One Day Design Challenge Poland 2021 will be held online.

Our aim is to involve the community of young designers in the research for original and innovative yet simple solutions, which improve the user’s interaction with bathroom products, for both private and public spaces.

Another goal is to offer a platform to promote, facilitate and concentrate creativity in a display of fast and intensive work focused on bathrooms, an area that is traditionally not the subject of a great deal of innovation.
