Just when the new editions are about to begin, we have decided to talk to Josep Congost, Roca Design & Innovation Director and jury of the Roca One Day Design Challenge in seven occasions, so that he can explain to us how to design, prepare and present the proposals during the competition. Therefore, future contestants, pay attention to the following interview.

In the last edition of the competition in Oman, we have talked to Dr. Sohair Hegazi, Architecture and Interior Design Head of Department at the Oman Scientific College of Design, about the influence of initiatives such as One Day Design Challenge on student learning.

Martha Thorne is the Executive Director of the Pritzker Architecture Prize and Dean of the IE School of Architecture & Design, part of the innovative IE University in Madrid/Segovia. Since 2015 she has been a friend of the We Are Water Foundation and was recently a member of the judges’ panel at the One Day Design Challenge in Shanghai.
